cat fud - classic far side cartoon

Well, people have been telling me that I should do it, and I’ve been meaning to do it for ages and ages; at long last, I’m getting to it, mostly because I have a recipe to post. More on that in a moment.

There’s not a lot to say about the site yet, though the name might confuse people. Because my main site is SleepingCat, I decided to think on ‘cat themed’ ideas after my first thought for naming the blog, ‘Manducate: a bite of a food blog’ was voted down be friends who thought it was obscure and would be mistaken for a number of other words people might actually have heard of.

Then I remembered this classic Far Side cartoon, and here it is, Cat Fud.

In addition to writings from me, you will see my fellow food geeks, Ny, Rachel, Laurie, Santiago and Steve post here from time to time, too, when they have something to say. I attempt to update around Midnight on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, though my Wednesdays are busy enough that ‘around midnight’ can mean as late as 4am if no one else does the Wednesday entry!
